Compatibility Our plug-ins are compatible with the following platforms: Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8.1, Windows 10 (64-bit versions only), Mac OS X 10.9 or newer. PROCESS.AUDIO plug-ins are 64-bit only. Please make sure your operating system is 64-bit as well (it usually is). Please also have a look to our list of officially supported DAWS: <a href="https://process.audio/support/officially-supported-daws-formats-and-os">https://process.audio/support/officially-supported-daws-formats-and-os</a>   Protection & Activation Like most pro audio plug-ins, our plug-ins are protected by an <a href="https://www.ilok.com" target="_blank">iLok license management system</a>.  Don't worry, this iLok system is FREE, easy to use and very common in the audio industry. It just requires a little bit of setup.  This iLok system allows you to deposit a unique demo or perpetual license to use our plug-ins on your computer. You will then be able to choose where you would like to activate this license. You will have two options: iLok Dongle, or the FREE iLok Cloud option. <ul> <li>iLok Cloud (FREE) If you have an internet connection, this is your best option. It fast and FREE.  From your iLok Manager, you'll just have to start a iLok Cloud Session and voilà. All your plug-ins will be activated and ready to use. They are like little USB sticks that will host all your plug-in licenses. This means that you can use your plug-ins everywhere, on all computers, as long as you carry this dongle with you. Once logged-in, in your profile page, you should be able to download all your products (demo & full license).

Activate my plug-in with iLok Cloud (FREE)

Our plug-ins are protected by an <a href="https://www.ilok.com" target="_blank">iLok license management system</a>.  Don't worry, this iLok system is FREE, easy to use and very common in the audio industry. It just requires a little bit of setup AND a working internet connection. This iLok system will allows you to deposit a unique demo or perpetual license to use our plug-ins on your computer. You will then be able to activate your license on a FREE iLok Cloud session which will allow you to use your plug-ins from any computer as long as you have an internet connection. Sounds complicated? Activate my plug-in with a iLok 2+ dongle

Our plug-ins are protected by an <a href="https://www.ilok.com" target="_blank">iLok license management system</a>.  This system will require you to own an iLok dongle 2+ which you can purchase online or from your local dealer. If you prefer a FREE option, you can always use the <a href="https://process.audio/support/activate-my-plug-in-with-ilok-cloud-free">FREE iLok Cloud option</a>.  This iLok system will allow you to deposit a unique demo or perpetual license to use our plug-ins on your computer. You will then be able to activate your license on your iLok dongle. Sounds complicated? All pureMix Pro Members have access to ALL PROCESS.AUDIO plug-ins for FREE for as long as their Pro Membership is active. My Plug-ins aren't showing up in my DAW!

Ableton Live - my plug-ins aren't showing up

PROCESS.AUDIO plug-ins are compatible with Ableton Live 8 and above in 64-bit mode ONLY.   1. PROCESS.AUDIO plug-ins are 64-bit only. So make sure you are NOT running your DAW in 32-bit in a 32-bit environment. Ableton Live 8 and 9 need to be installed with their 64-bit installers whereas Ableton Live 10 is already 64-bit only. 2. Make sure your plug-ins are installed in the correct and default locations: Live 8 and 9 only use VST2 plug-ins wherease Live 10+ can use VST3 plug-ins. MAC <ul> <li> /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/  (AU) </li> <li> /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST/  (VST2) </li> <li> /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/  (VST3) Live 10+ only </li> </ul>   WINDOWS <ul> <li> C:\Program Files\Vstplugins (VST2) </li> <li> C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3  (VST3) Live 10+ only </li> </ul>   3. Close Ableton, and then right-click and select ‘Run as Administrator’ (you will only have to do this once). If the plug-ins show up at this point, you're set. If not, move on to the next step. 4. Open Live's Preferences > Plug-ins (Live 10.1 and later) or > File Folder (all Live versions until 10.1). Try to spot the Plug-In Sources section (usually at the bottom of the pane).   WINDOWS <img alt="Windows Ableton Plug-Ins Sources Settings" src="https://process.audio/storage/support/vst_settings_ableton_windows.png" /> <ul> <li> If using Live > 10 and VST3, enable the System folder. This is where your PROCESS.AUDIO plug-ins are installed by default (C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3). </li> <li> If using a VST3 or VST2 Plug-in Custom Folder, make sure your PROCESS.AUDIO plug-ins are actually installed in this folder and switch it on (usually C:\Program Files\VSTPlugins). </li> </ul> In any event, make sure to switch ‘Off’ both VST2 and VST3 locations first, hit Rescan, then switch them back ‘On’ and hit Rescan again.   MAC <img alt="Mac Ableton Plug-Ins Sources Settings" src="https://process.audio/storage/support/vst_settings_ableton_mac.png" /> <ul> <li> If using Audio Units (AU), switch ‘Use Audio Units’ on.  </li> <li> If using the VST2 or VST3 Plug-in system folder, switch this on. </li> <li> If using a VST3 or VST2 Plug-in Custom Folder, make sure your PROCESS.AUDIO plug-ins are actually installed in this folder and switch it on (Usually /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST/). </li> <li> Trick: Hit Rescan while pressing the Option key. It will force a deeper full rescan </li> </ul> In any event, make sure to switch ‘Off’ both VST2 and VST3 locations first, hit Rescan, then switch them back ‘On’ and hit Rescan again. 4. If everything fails, remove the plug-ins manually, trash the plug-ins, rescan, re-install them with the PROCESS.AUDIO installers and hit rescan again.

Cubase - my plug-ins aren't showing up

PROCESS.AUDIO plug-ins are compatible with Cubase 6 and above in 64-bit mode ONLY. PROCESS.AUDIO plug-ins are 64-bit only. Our plug-ins will work in either VST2 or VST3 format as long as Cubase is installed and started in 64-bit mode.   1. PROCESS.AUDIO plug-ins are 64-bit only. So make sure you are not running your DAW in 32-bit in a 32-bit environment.   MAC In order to start Cubase in 64-bit mode: <ul> <li>Make sure Cubase isn't running.</li> <li>Go to your /Applications folders and click on Cubase.app  and choose Get Info from the File menu or use the Command+i (⌘i) key command</li> <li>Enable or disable the "Open in 32-bit mode" checkbox. <img alt="" src="https://process.audio/storage/support/cubase-32-bit.png" style="height:604px; width:265px" /></li> </ul>   MAC & Windows In newer version of Cubase, you can change to 64-bit processing precision in the Studio Setup > VST Audio System > Processing Precision. <img alt="" src="https://process.audio/storage/support/cubase-64%20bit%20presision.png" style="height:456px; width:500px" />   2. Make sure your plug-ins are installed in the correct and default locations: MAC <ul> <li>/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST/  (VST2)</li> <li>/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/  (VST3)</li> </ul>   WINDOWS <ul> <li>C:\Program Files\Vstplugins (VST2)</li> <li>C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3  (VST3)</li> </ul>   3. Open Cubase and open the Plug-in Manager found under the "Devices" tab. Click the cog wheel to open the "Plug-in Manager Settings". Make sure the following plug-in path is listed: Windows: C:\Program Files\VSTPlugins and : C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3  Mac: /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST/  and : /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/  Next, click the "Rescan All" button as show in the image below: <img alt="Logic Plug-Ins Sources Settings" src="https://process.audio/storage/support/vst_settings_logic.png" />   4. If everything fails, remove the filepath, re-scan, add the filepath again and try to re-scan.   Note : WINDOWS Black listing Open up the Explorer and navigate to the folder C: \ Users \ <USERNAME> \ AppData \ Roaming \ Steinberg \ <PROGRAM NAME> Delete the file VST2xBlacklist.xml which contains all your blacklisted plug-ins. Launch Cubase. It will automatically rescan your plug-ins.

FL Studio - My Plug-ins Don't Show Up

Logic - my plug-ins aren't showing up

PROCESS.AUDIO plug-ins are compatible with Logic Pro 9 (64-bit run only) and Logic Pro X only.   Logic Pro 9 and Logic Pro X 1. Make sure your plug-ins are installed in the correct location: /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/ 2. Make absolutely sure that your plug-in license is activated on your iLok dongle or that you have an iLok Cloud Session opened BEFORE starting Logic Pro. Otherwise the plug-in will not be validated and will not show up. 3. In the Logic Pro X menu bar, go to the Logic Pro X / Preferences / Audio Units Manager and scroll down until you find your PROCESS.AUDIO plug-ins. Make sure that your iLok Cloud Sessions has started or that you have an iLok Dongle plugged in to your computer with your plug-in licenses activated on it. Make sure the ‘Use’ column is checked off in front of your plug-ins. Hit ‘Reset & Rescan Selection,’ and then ‘Done.’ Now make sure the ‘Use’ column is actually checked and hit ‘Reset & Rescan Selection’ and ‘Done’ once more.  4. If your plug-ins are not showing up in the Audio Units Manager, you should close Logic, remove the ‘.component’ files from /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/, open Logic again, close Logic again, and then reinstall your plug-ins. When you open Logic, repeat step 2 in order to re-scan your Audio Units plug-in folder.   Logic Pro 9 Specific Instructions PROCESS.AUDIO plug-ins are 64-bit only and Logic 9 runs in 32-bit mode by default. If Logic does not run in 64-bit mode, it won't be able to scan and use your PROCESS.AUDIO plug-in. In order to start Logic Pro 9 in 64-bit mode: <ul> <li>Make sure Logic Pro isn't running.</li> <li>Go to your /Applications folders and click on Logic Pro.app  and choose Get Info from the File menu or use the Command+i (⌘i) key command</li> <li>Enable or disable the "Open in 32-bit mode" checkbox. <img alt="" src="https://process.audio/storage/support/logic-9-64.png" style="height:718px; width:344px" /></li> </ul>   Please read the following guidelines if your plug-ins still do not show up, as they apply to both Logic 9 and X.
