Below you will find our updated Privacy Policy. Please note that this Privacy Policy applies to all users of the Process.audio Services.

PROCESS.AUDIO CORP ("Process.audio" or "we" or "us") knows that you care how information about you is used and shared, and we appreciate your trusting us to do so carefully and sensibly. We take your privacy very seriously and make it a priority to protect personally identifiable information, such as your name, email address and payment methods that we obtain from and about you both online and off-line. Please take a moment to review this Privacy Policy, which describes how Process.audio collects, uses, and shares this and other information.

Process.audio is on online software store as well as a software rental service (collectively, the "Services").

Certain Process.audio Services are provided to you free-of-charge (Software free trials, Blog, Newsletter, Session Downloads, Free Plug-ins). Other Process.audio Services such a plug-in access subscriptions and plug-ins for sale will require payment by you.

This Privacy Policy covers the information Process.audio collects from Process.audio's registered users. Generally speaking, we collect information from the following sources:

- Information you give us, such as during free registration or pay for subscription;

- Information automatically collected when you visit the Process.audio Site or use the Process.audio Services, such as via cookies.

Personal Information

When you register with Process.audio, we ask for personally identifiable information such as your username, password and email address. From time to time, we may also ask you to provide other information about yourself on an optional basis, such as data we can use to tailor the advertisements served with the Services to your interests. If you choose to provide this information, you are giving Process.audio permission to use and store it consistent with this Privacy Policy. Therefore, when you sign in with Process.audio, you are not anonymous to us.

Initially, the email address is the only personally identifiable information that Process.audio stores. The username you choose may also be classed as personally identifiable if you choose something that resembles your name, band, organization, company, etc.

In addition, Process.audio automatically collects information about your interactions with the Process.audio Site and the Process.audio Services. For example, Process.audio automatically collects information about your interactions with free-of-charge downloadable content or software free trials.

We may use your personally identifiable information to:

i. Provide you with promotional information about Process.audio's features, services, and other offerings that may be of interest to you; or

ii. Only with your explicit consent, we also may share your personally identifiable information (such as username or email address) with advertisers, business partners (such as pureMix), and other entities that are not affiliated with Process.audio who would like to send you promotional information about their products and services directly.

If we sell all or part of our business, or make a sale or transfer of assets, or are otherwise involved in a merger or business transfer, or in the unlikely event of bankruptcy, we will transfer your personally identifiable information to one or more third parties as part of that transaction.

Navigation Data and Google analytics

Process.audio automatically receives and records information from your computer and browser, including your IP address, software and hardware attributes, the page you request, and cookie information, as discussed below in the section titled. Those pieces of information are collected through google analytics and are used solely for monitoring the volume of traffic the site receives and better understand how users find and use our web pages and to see their journey through the website.

Although Google Analytics records data such as your geographical location, device, Internet browser and operating system, none of this information personally identifies you to us.

Disabling cookies on your Internet browser will stop Google Analytics from tracking any part of your visit to pages within this website. It may also hinder and compromise your user experience on the Process.audio Site.

PACE protection

Process.audio content is iLok protected and uses PACE protection technology. In order to deposit your free-of-charge or pay-for licenses in your iLok account and be able to carry out customer support tasks, we need to collect your PACE information when you decide to redeem your plug-in licenses.

Cookies

Process.audio may display targeted advertisements based on your activities in connection with the Process.audio Services, which we obtain through cookies and other information about you that we have collected, such as your interests and navigation on the Process.audio website.

Some advertisements displayed in connection with the Process.audio Services also may contain cookies set by third party Internet advertisers.

A user might by directed to the Process.audio site through coupons or hyperlinks provided by affiliated companies and third-parties distributors. In order to measure, identify and store the origin of such user, Process.audio may store cookies on you computer.

Data Retention

We will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting or reporting requirements.

You may, at any time, request that we correct personal data that we hold about you which you believe is incorrect or inaccurate. You may also ask us to erase personal data if you do not believe that we need to continue retaining it.

Third Parties and advertisers

The Process.audio Services may be linked to or provided through Internet websites or other platforms operated by other companies. Some of these websites or other platforms may be co-branded with our name or logo, even though they are not operated or maintained by us. For example, users can use the Process.audio Services on the websites of Process.audio's authorized third party distributors. Process.audio is not responsible for the privacy practices of the websites or other platforms operated by third parties. Once you have left the Process.audio Site by clicking on a link, or if you are using the Process.audio Services on another website or platform, you should check the privacy policy of the other website or platform to determine how it handles any personally identifiable information it collects from you.

Process.audio carries advertisements from other companies, often with the ability to click through to websites or properties run by these other companies. Process.audio is not responsible for the privacy practices of advertisers. Once you have left the Process.audio Site by clicking on an advertisement, you should check the privacy policy of the advertiser to determine how it handles any personally identifiable information it separately collects from you. Please be aware that Process.audio does not warn you when you have chosen to link through to another website or property from the Process.audio Site.

Viewing Statistics

Aggregate data is information that we collect on an individualized basis (for example, statistics and software free trial downloads) but subsequently use in aggregate form (that is, in a way that combines information about individuals together so that no individual is identifiable). We may use aggregate data for a variety of purposes, including for research or analysis, website administration, advertising and promotional purposes. Although aggregate data may be based in part on personally identifiable information about you, it does not identify you personally.

Please note that we may share aggregated and non-personally identifiable information with our advertisers so they can measure the effectiveness of advertisements viewed in connection with the Process.audio Services. For example, we may tell advertisers the number of users who clicked on a particular advertisement.

Giveaways & Promotions

Process.audio runs regular giveaways for software and hardware products in association with third parties. These opt-in promotions require the user to agree to each giveaways's Terms & Conditions at the time of entry where they agree to share their name and email address with the third party (i.e. the company providing the prize for the giveaway).

Newsletters

If you choose to join Process.audio and register for a Process.audio Free Trial account or purchase a Process.audio subscription or pay-for product, the email address from your Process.audio User Account will be used in order to validate your email address and custom tailor the Process.audio experience for your taste and guide you through our learning path.

If you choose, you will also receive newsletter until you specifically request removal from the list. You can do this by unsubscribing using the one-click unsubscribe links contained in any email newsletters that we send to you or by requesting removal via email. When requesting removal via email, please send your email to us using the email account that is subscribed to the mailing list (i.e. the one associated with your Process.audio User Account). Our newsletters may contain promotions or advertisements from various businesses or information on other sites or services that we offer.

Protection

We use reasonable physical, technical, and administrative measures to safeguard personally identifiable information in our possession against loss, theft and unauthorized use, disclosure, or modification. We also take steps to ensure that only those Process.audio employees, agents, and contractors who have a legitimate business reason to obtain access to your personally identifiable information are granted access.

Despite these efforts, please note that no data transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. We want you to feel confident using the Process.audio Services but we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us.

Emails addresses are stored and attached to your user account and third party secure mailing services.

Password are ciphered (a one-way hash) so that it is secure. However, it is recommended that you do not reuse the same password across a number of different websites. Your password is the means of accessing your account at Process.audio, so please guard it carefully and under no circumstance will anyone affiliated with Process.audio or another 3rd party legitimately ask you for your password. Should you forget the password for your account, you can use the "I forgot my password" feature to generate a new one. This process will ask you to submit your e-mail address, then the software will generate a new password, send it to your email address whereupon you must click a link to activate it to reclaim your account.

Payment methods are never stored on Process.audio. We exclusively use well-known external third party vaults for that matter.
